I looked into this for you, and the outcome was that you can indeed use the Thawte personal certificate system with ApacheSSL. You will need to obtain a valid Digital Certificate for your Virtual Server, and separate personal certs for each client you wish to validate. The personal cert validation system is enabled in the ApacheSSL config file, '/www/ssl/conf/httpd.conf'. If you want to find out more information about using the personal cert system in conjunction with ApacheSSL, visit http://www.apachessl.com If you want to find out more about obtaining personal certs, visit the Thawte web site at http://www.thawte.com If you decide to go ahead and order the digital certificate, let me know, and I'll give you a run through of the process. Best Regards, Mark Sutton
