SET PROPERTIES

Description: JBillboard enable you to create your billboard applets with variety of special
effects. This is achieved by simply setting the properties for each image file (picture) to be
used. Generally, the property items include "Pause", "Transition", "URL", and "Sound".
However, corresponding to the content of the "Transition", there are additional options
followed. These options should be given in order to provide a complete setting for the
"Transition". The following presents the definitions about the property items and the options
for the property of "Transition".

1. Pause
Set an interval from one picture switching to another. There are 10 options with 10 numbers
from 1 to 10, which represent 10 interval from 1 second to 10 seconds.

2. Transition
Set the style of transition from one picture to another. There are nine styles of the transition.
They are named respectively as cut in, fade, fade through white/black, sand & pepper, sweep,
slip-in, puzzle, random lines, and flip. Any of them can be chosen to create a billboard with its
special effect.

i) In case of setting the "Transition" with "Fade thro' black/white", there is an option "Through"
followed shown in Fig 1. "Through" defines white or black that the transition from one picture
to another will go through.

ii) In case of setting the "Transition" with "Sand & pepper ", an option "Dot size" is followed
shown in Fig. 2. There are eight dot sizes representing by the numbers from 1 to 8. The effect
of the billboard applet generated with "Sand & pepper" will be various depending on the dot
size used.

iii) Similarly, in case of setting the "Transition" with "Sweep", an option box "Dot size" is
opened for setting a dot size by any number of 1, 2 and 3.

iv) In case of setting the "Transition" with "Slip in", an option box "Direction" will appear
as shown in Fig. 3. There are four directions, up, down, right, and left. With these four
directions, four different effects of the billboard applet can be produced.

v) In case of setting the "Transition" with "Random lines", two option boxes "Line width" and
"Direction" will appear as shown in Fig. 3. There are three line widths representing by 1, 2,
and 3, and three directions including "Horizontal", "Vertical", and "Horizontal & Vertical". By
