mkMOVIE documentation
1. Overview
mkMOVIE is a fullscreen movie player for Microsoft Windows. The biggest feature of mkMOVIE is that it can let you specify in which display resolution to play movies. MS MediaPlayer just 'fits the image to the desktop' in its fullscreen mode, which possibly causes loss in image quality or framerate in higher desktop resolutions. mkMOVIE solves this inconvenience by taking advantage of the power of DirectDraw.
2. Requirement
- Windows95, 98 or 2000
- DirectDraw capable graphic system
- DirectX 3.0 or higher
3. Installing/UnInstalling
Just unpack the zip archive to any folder and run mkmovie.exe. mkMOVIE doesn't make any modifications to Windows Registry. You can just delete the folder to uninstall it.
mkMOVIE has a quite straightforward user interface. You will find most of the workfields self explaining. But in case something is unfamiliar, below is the detailed description of the mkMOVIE main window.
