Features
CD2HTML has many features to create HTML and text pages on an easy and convenient way:
- Exports to HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), EMF (Enhanced MetaFile), Text documents and files.bbs; reads and writes descript.ion files for picture comments (ACDSee compatible)
- Because of using CD2HTMLs own script language the HTML output can be adjusted by the needs in design and functionality
- It fully supports the MP3 format (reading and writing ID3 tag v1.0, MP3 header, version, bitrate, song duration ...)
- Automatically creates thumbnails for GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PNG, TGA, TIFF, PCX, PCD, PSD, PSP images (and many more) and icons from any file
- Reads different file descriptions out of directories and archives (for pictures ACDSee compatible, MP3 ID3 v1.0, file_id.diz, <filename>.txt, files.bbs)
- Automatically creates HTML pages out of Internet Explorer Favorites (files in IE *.url format)
- Many presets for the most common tasks
- Internal Zip/UnZip/UnRAR support and support for external archivers
- Creates links automatically to other files
- Command line support
- Easy editing of descriptions for graphic (ACDSee compatible) and sound (MP3) files
- Filters out and replaces or deletes the ANSI codes found in the file descriptions, preventing ANSI bombs
- Multilingual (English, German, Swedish, Portuguese, Italian, French, Dutch, Polish, Hungarian)
- Creates CD covers based on your files
- Easy and user friendly GUI with MS Explorer like design
- Scans directories up to 100 levels
- Creates formatted file descriptions on the fly
- Modern installation and uninstallation support
These are only the most important features. CD2HTML can do many more - just try it!
Limitations
If you create a single HTML file then you should set the searching depth to a maximum value of two.
