RBTreeView 1.11 Component for Delphi & C++ Builder

Our goal, at Borshack Software Solutions, is to develope high quality custom components for Delphi and C++ Builder, and we are always looking for new ideas.

In this package you will find the following files:

LIB directory:

Delphi3 directory:

Files needed for the delphi 3 installation of the component.

Delphi4 directory:

Files needed for the delphi 4 installation of the component.

CBuilder1 directory:

Files needed for the C++ Builder 1 installation of the component.

CBuilder3 directory:

Files needed for the C++ Builder 3 installation of the component.

Help directory:

RBTreeView.hlp - the help file of the component.
RBTreeView.cnt - the help contents file for the component.

DEMO directory:

RBTreeViewDemo.exe - a demo application showing some of the properties of the component.

This package contains the unregistered version of the component, which is identical to the registered version, with the following exceptions:

You can't create more than 50 nodes in the tree component.
On every creation of the tree on a form, you will get a 'nag' window reminding you that this is an unregistered version of the component.

How to install

Install the component by following these instructions:

Delphi 3 installation:

Unzip the RBTreeViewDemo.zip into a directory of your choice (component base directory).
Start Delphi.
Activate the menu "Component | Install packages" command.
Press the "Add" button, and select RBTreeViewPak.dpl from the directory "Lib/Delphi3" in the component base directory.

Delphi 4 installation:

Unzip the RBTreeViewDemo.zip into a directory of your choice (component base directory).
Start Delphi.
Activate the menu "Component | Install packages" command.
Press the "Add" button, and select RBTreeViewD4Pak.dpl from the directory "Lib/Delphi4" in the component base directory.

C++ Builder 1 installation:

Unzip the RBTreeViewDemo.zip into a directory of your choice (component base directory).
Start C++ Builder
Activate the menu "Component | Install" command.
Press the "Add" and "Browse" buttons, and select RBTreeViewPak.dcu from the directory "Lib/CBuilder1" in the component base directory.

C++ Builder 3 installation:

Unzip the RBTreeViewDemo.zip into a directory of your choice (component base directory).
Start C++ Builder
Activate the menu "Component | Install packages" command.
Press the "Add" and "Browse" buttons, and select RBTreeViewPak.bpl from the directory "Lib/CBuilder3" in the component base directory.
Add the above directory to the library path (using environment options).

After a short while, you should find a new tab named "Borshack" on the component palette with the component "RBTreeView" in it.

Price

This component is shareware! This means that you must register it if you want to use it in your applications (commercial or not).
These are the versions availble:

Single developer with full source code	80$ US
Site license (for more than one developer) without source code	180$ US
Site license (for more than one developer) with full source code	250$ US

The single developer edition, allows only one programmer to install the component on only one computer, if you need to develope with more that one programmer or more than one computer you should buy the on of the site license versions. In both cases, there are no royalties on applications you develope yourself (commercial or not).
