Note: Changes in this dialog to filesets and their contents take effect as soon as you make them, and cannot be canceled. However, changes to the two options (listed here at the top) work in the same way as the rest of the options screens, and need to be applied.

Use QuickSwitch bar
Tick this option to use the tab control at the top of the main window that provides faster access to different filesets and their links.

Using this bar, you can switch to a fileset by clicking on its tab, or view its links quickly in a menu by right clicking on it.

Default size of QuickSwitch tabs
This sets the width of tabs on the QuickSwitch bar, in pixels. Enter a value greater than 0 to have all of the tabs the same size, or set it to 0 for automatic sizing of each tab depending on the length of the text (fileset name) that it contains.

Filesets
VLink can use multiple file sets (the combination of the files link.vxl and name.vxl in a directory) to give a way of separating and organising links into categories. This dialog is the main area for the management of these filesets, though some management can also be done from the main window.

Filesets
This shows a list of all the filesets that are currently available. Click on a fileset name to view its contents. Click on New to create a new fileset with a default name assigned by VLink. Click on this new fileset (or any fileset), and click Rename to edit the name of the fileset, pressing the enter key to set the new name. To cancel renaming a fileset while still editing its name, press the escape key. Click on a fileset, then Delete to delete that fileset and all of its contents. Clicking Activate will set the selected fileset as the active one in VLink's main window. Click the Clear list button beneath the fileset list to delete all filesets and all of their contents, apart from the base fileset (the one where VLink.exe is located), which is always listed at the top.

Contents
This list shows the links in the fileset currently selected in the Fileset list, and allows you to move items around in filesets, cut, copy and paste links between filesets, and clear all of the links in a fileset. You can also delete links here by clicking on a link and pressing the delete key on your keyboard, or right-clicking on the list for a small menu, then clicking Delete.
