TGTrend_Demo2

The main proposal with this demo is to give You a brief feeling how to read in data "on line" from a, in this case, an inbuilt source generator. You can switch channels on and off, make a time zooming to take a closer look at the curves. With the pan functions, (in time and value direction), is it easy to find the most interesting part of the curves.

Normally values are entered into the program through some form of communication, (network, serial port, etc).

To test the function of this demo, start the compiled program 'TGTrend_Demo2.exe'. The signal are there instantly.

The demo program consist of 6 different parts.

The main part of course is the Graph on the left side. On this demo You find a group box just under the menu. There You find a selector to set up how many channels You will use in the program. This can be changed when running. How many channels is depending how muck memory You have free in the computer, etc.

On the right side of the Graph You find a group box for the Channel setup, and setup for the corresponding Signal generator. Those group boxes can be hidden by selecting from the menu.

Under the Graph You find a group box containing scrollbars for setting the duration time and for adjusting the end time in the graph. You can also select the updating time and select if You want to have the updating "online".

Notice! If You deselect the "Auto Update"- checkbox, values are still stored into the graph, and can later on be shown. This happens, for example, when You select "Auto Update".

When You select a channel, in the radio group, You also get the corresponding values for the channel and also for the RSG(Random Signal Generator). In the RSG Group box You set the wave form, amplitude, time base, etc.
