TeeChart Pro ActiveX Form
| |
---------------------------------------------------------------
Requeriments:
=======================
** Microsoft Windows 95 or Windows NT.
** Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or greater
** The following Borland Delphi 3.0 packages in c:\windows\system
VCL30.DPL
VCLSMP30.DPL
TEE30.DPL
TEEUI30.DPL
(These packages will be offered soon for first-time automatic
downloading to machines without Delphi 3.0 installed.)
You must be using Internet Explorer with "Medium" or "None"
security filter.
Go to Internet Explorer --> View --> Options --> Security
and click on "Safety Level" to change it.
Troubleshooting:
=======================
** I see a small white squared icon at the upper left corner
with a red "X" symbol.
That means Internet Explorer cannot locate the TeeChart
ActiveX Form file or the necessary Delphi 3.0 packages
in your \windows\system directory.
(See above installation instructions and requeriments).
Check you have the above DPL files in your c:\windows\system
directory ( or in c:\winnt\system32 if using Windows NT ).
Go to c:\windows\occache directory
and check you have the following files:
teeax.inf
teeax.ocx
If you dont have these files, it means Internet Explorer
cannot download them from our web site.
This is can be a problem on our side or in your internet
connection. Re-try at a later time by refreshing the demo
page in Internet Explorer.
How it works ?
The teeax.HTM file contains a reference to the teeax.INF
file.
This INF file contains instructions for Internet Explorer
on where to find the TeeChart ActiveX form OCX file
in a compressed format : teeax.cab.
Internet Explorer starts downloading teeax.cab to your
machine. When finished, it extracts the teeax.ocx file
and adds it to the Windows registry.
The INF and OCX files are copied into c:\windows\occache
directory for later reuse.
Then it runs the ActiveX Form, and the form checks for
the Delphi 3.0 runtime packages (VCL30, VCLSMP30, TEE30 and
TEEUI30.dpl files).
These packages come with the default installation of Delphi 3.0,
and go to the c:\windows\system directory.
