Known Bugs and Limitations

This appendix describes commonly-asked-about bugs and limitations of Galeon. Please file a report at Bugzilla or use the GNOME Bug Report Tool (known as bug-buddy at the command line) if you find one we have not listed.

• Scrollbar grabs mouse focus

  This is a bug with Mozilla: Bug 67277 and others.

• Bookmarks list not fully displayed

  This is a GTK shortcoming.

• xpi crashes

  See Bug 63690.

• view-source: pulls again from server (does not use cache)

  This is a known bug with Mozilla: Bug 55583.

• Scrollbars sometimes go missing after upgrading galeon

  Usually removing ~/.galeon and ~/.mozilla and restarting GConf solve this problem. If not, you may need to re-install Mozilla. See Bug 60881 for more information.

A couple of areas that need help:

• SSL webpages might not work on Solaris

  See Bug 63026. If you are running galeon under Solaris, please update this bug with your experiences.
