INSTALLATION:

Thank you for Downloading 3D Amazing Yosemite. To install the screensaver, Unzip the SCR file, and move it to the windows main directory (Usually C:\WINDOWS, or C:\WINNT).

Right click on a blank area of your desktop, and choose properties. Open the Screen Savers tab, and select 3dYosemite as your screen saver.

In the configuration window, you can select from three different camera angles.

To uninstall the program, go to your windows directory, and delete the 3dYosemite.SCR file.

Alternate method:

Unzip the files. Right click the SCR file, and choose install. Also, you can right click it to configure the settings. DO NOT delete the file, because windows saves the path information, and sends it to the screen saver control panel.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

Pentium III, 1GHz or higher PC
Windows 98 or higher (Win NT4, and Win 2000 also supported)
ATI Radeon, or Nvidia Geforce based 3D card with at least 32 MB

NO NAGS:

This screen saver does not contain any adware, spyware or nag screens for your maximum enjoyment. There is a 15 day trail period, and after 10 days a window will appear showing how many days are left. You have the option of registering at this point.

FAQs:

Q: I have an ATI Radeon based card, and the colors are awful, with banding everywhere. How do I fix this?

A: Make sure you are using the latest drivers for your video card. In the past, ATI has had difficulty with their OpenGL drivers. If you are still having problems using the latest drivers, open your ATI display panel, and access the OpenGL settings. Change the Texture Quality setting to Highest Quality. Some ATI driver versions default to 8 bit texture colors.

 

Q: I don't have a Radeon or Geforce based 3D card. Will I be able to run the screensaver?

A: Other types of cards have not been tested, but you can download the free edition and test compatability with your card. 3D Amazing Yosemite uses the OpenGL standard, so you must have a card with the latest OpenGL drivers, as well as hardware support for Transform, and Lighting (T&L). Also, your 3D card should have at least 32 MB of RAM.
