Usage
If you have correctly specified paths you'll see this window:
To start searching you should enter a filename or a mask (e.g. *.avi or *.* or ?smth*.doc) or
you may choose one of templates given by default. Each time you enter a filename or a mask it is added to the templates file. After you've entered or chose, push the ‘Find’ button or push 'ENTER' key.
Toolbar buttons:
Open saved results button. Opens       files of *.jxs type
Save results button. Save table to a file
Tools button. Open properties window to adjust settings.
Find button. Opens dialog to find string in the table.

As the search process goes on you'll see it's results in the table.
You may wish to sort table’s contents by ‘Path&Name’ or ‘Size’ or by two other columns. To do so, just click on the column’s name.

Right-clicking on the row of the table you may take one of 4 actions. For windows and Linux users all 4 actions are available. For others only 2 last. In the future releases other actions will be supported for all OS's.
Notice that 'copy to' action opens a save dialog and an additional window for copying process showing. PLEASE try not to close this window and the main window as the copy is in progress.
Copy link copies selected path in the table to the system buffer, you should paste it where you need to.

You may save and open your search results by clicking 'open' and 'save' buttons.

Options could be defined by entering the properties.
You may choose search area - Whole net, Workgroups list, Hosts list, IP-range;
exclude workgroups and hosts from the area chose. To include/exclude workgroups you should select them on the map holding ‘CTRL’ key for multiple selection.
Ip-range supports only XXX.YYY.WWW.ZZZ – XXX.YYY.QQQ.RRR. Which means that you can not specify such a range where first and second numbers of the ip address is not equal to corresponding numbers in the second address.
On the next tab you may choose filters: filter by size and by last modified.
Also you may increase or decrease number of search-threads.
2 types of authentication could be chosen - 'Default' and 'Library'. If you have a domain structure you should specify domain name. Please keep in mind that username and password fields are not encrypted for a default authentication model, but they are encrypted for the library model.
In the log files you may see which credentials are not suitable to login on to corresponding host. So keep them safe.
In terms of security issues you may edit JXtremeSearch/log.properties file. Find string ‘log4j.rootLogger=debug, R’ and change 'debug' to ‘warn’. In this case only critical issues will be logged.
Another feature is find something in the table. Do not use masks ('?' and '*') there.
The case of the chars are ignored.

To improve performance of searching you may edit JXtremeSearch/jcifs.prp file :

      edit jcifs.smb.client.responseTimeout =     value.
The time period in milliseconds that the client will wait for a response to a request from the server. Under poor network conditions you may wish to increase this value.

If your search box is too filled with elements, delete them from the JXtremeSearch/searchTmp.ini file.
