1. Output and input files
-i , -o
-i <input>
input is tiff files or directories name.
-o <output>
it is output pdf file that will have generated.
e.g.
1.Convert multi image files into a pdf file:
image2pdf -i d:\sample1.tif -i d:\sample2.jpg -i d:\sample3.bmp -o d:\output.pdf
2.Convert multi image files to multi pdf files:
image2pdf -i d:\sample1.tif -i d:\sample2.jpg -i d:\sample3.bmp -o d:\
3.Convert one folder in to a pdf file:
image2pdf -i d:\dir -o d:\output.pdf
image2pdf -i d:\dir\*.* -o d:\output.pdf
image2pdf -i d:\dir\*.jpg -o d:\output.pdf
4.Convert multi folder into a pdf file:
image2pdf -i d:\dir1\*.tif -i d:\dir2\*.jpg -i d:\dir3\*.bmp -o d:\output.pdf
5.Convert image files and multi directory into a pdf file:
image2pdf -i d:\sample1.tif -i d:\sample2.jpg -i d:\dir1\*.tif -i:\dir2\*.jpg -o
d:\output.pdf
-a
has append if the file exists.
note: it conn't support bookmarks.
2. Optimize setting
-s
skew correct, default is ignored.
-c
clear spot, default is ignored.
-d <resolution>
reset resolution(dpi) in generated pdf files,
default is unchanged source resolution.
e.g.
1.skew correct
and clear spot in generated pdf file:
image2pdf -i d:\sample.tif -o d:\output.pdf -s
-c
2 set resolution in generated pdf file:
image2pdf -i d:\sample.tif -o d:\output.pdf -d 300
3. Security setting
-e <bits>
encrypt pdf
file with level bits (128,40)
128:encrypt level 128 bits
40:encrypt level 40 bits
note: ignore all other security parameters
if this non-appear.
-w <password>
set owner password , it is none if not appear.
-u <password>
set user password , it is none if not appear.
-p
set print permission , default is non-permissible.
-y
set copy permission , default is non-permissible.
-m
set modify permission , default is non-permissible.
e.g.
1.Encrypt pdf
file:
image2pdf -i d:\dir -o d:\outpdf.pdf -e 40
image2pdf -i d:\dir -o d:\outpdf.pdf -e 40 -w
owner -u user -p -y -m
4. Document information setting
-t <title>
set document title, default is ignored.
-j <subject>
set document subject,
default is ignored.
-h <author>
set document author,
default is ignored.
-k <keywords>
set document keywords,
default is ignored.
-f <creator>
set document creator,
default is ignored.
e.g.
1 set info in
generated pdf file:
image2pdf -i d:\sample.tif -o d:\output.pdf -t title
-j subject -h author -k keywords -f creator
5. Other setting
-b <attribute>
specify bookmark attribute,(page,short,full)
page : use page number as bookmarks
short : use the short file name as bookmarks
full : use the full file
name as bookmarks
-l <log file>
specify log file for output message
e.g.
1 set bookmark
in generated pdf file:
image2pdf -i d:\sample.tif -o d:\output.pdf -b -1
2.Get error message:
image2pdf -i d:\dir -o d:\outpdf.pdf -l d:\error.log
