An Overview of Asset Farm System

Figure : 1.1 Basic Structure of the System

In this part we are going to learn more about the Asset Farm system. You are getting to know the basic structure of the system and the responsibilities of each part of the system.

As shown in Figure: 1.1, the system is simply classified into 3 parts. There are server part, clients part and monitor/report part. The first part, clients, is composed of many agents. Each agent works independently. The second part, server, controls the agents in the first part. The last one is Monitor/Report part. The console session responses for making the historical data report when needed.

The server also continually communicates with the agents for a period of time to find out whether there are any changes in the agents or not. If there are any minor changes, such as there are responses from the new agent, the real-time system will automatically inform the users by showing the red color printed on that part name of the agent.
