About this demonstration

This demonstration is a combined effort to show the potential of JAVA by demonstrating Realtime-Raytracing and "normal rendering"

For normal Rendering it uses the new Anfy3d-Api from the Anfy-Team a very fast software-rendering-API for JAVA 1.X with a complete scene-graph-concept like VRML97. Check it out!
The realtime raytracing is achieved by OtakInc's new realtime raytracing engine which is still in beta-stadium but can handle : All sort of quadrics, boxes and triangles, with shadowing, reflection, texturing, bump-mapping, phong-reflections, Cook&Torrance-reflections

This demonstration should be run on at least a PII-400mhz with Microsoft Internet Explorer >= 4.0
